FIRST GRADE:
Commits the superficial layers of the skin (epidermis). Generally caused by prolonged sun exposure or other forms instantaneously heat (hot items, iron). Characterized by:
· Skin redness
· Burning type pain
· Swelling (edema) moderate
· Dry

SECOND GRADE:
Injury superficial and middle layer of skin (epidermis and dermis). Characterized by:
· Formation of blisters (bullae)
· Severe pain
· Inflammation that extends into areas not burned body

THIRD GRADE:
Injury all layers of the skin and deep tissues such as fat, muscle and bone, as well as nerves, tendons, blood vessels. It characterized by:
· Absence of blisters
· Stuffy and dry skin
· No pain (numbness)
· White to black coloration.
· Always require urgent medical attention
