
The section has five adductor muscles – pectineus, adductor brevis, adductor longus, gracilis and adductor Magnus. The first three groups are designated as short adductors which go from the pelvis to the thigh while the latter two are called Adductors which stretches from the pelvis to the knee.
The Adductors main function is to remove the legs toward the midline. While walking, their adductor muscles are responsible for pulling the lower leg toward the center so that the body maintains balance.

There are enough physical therapy exercises to shorten Adductors. Some of them are:
